About Frank Asante
Frank Asante is Learning Catalyst Africa's IT Consultant. He leads the organisation's website and digital platforms and advises on the practical use of technology in its education work.
Frank brings more than ten years of experience at the meeting point of technology and education. As a Technical Support Officer at the Varkey Foundation from 2015 to 2019, he supported the technology behind distance learning programmes for schools. From 2019 to 2022 he was Solar & Remote Classroom Manager at Plan International Ghana, where he managed solar-powered and remote classroom set-ups that brought digital learning to schools with limited connectivity.
Today he works as a web developer and digital consultant, building websites, automating workflows and supporting organisations with their digital presence and operations. He holds a BSc in Information Technology from Pentecost University.
Frank believes technology should make learning more accessible, not more complicated. He focuses on simple, reliable solutions that work in real school and community settings.
