About Amos Quarshie Ahiaku
Amos Quarshie Ahiaku is an education and development practitioner with over 25 years of experience spanning classroom teaching, teacher development, training and coaching, education research, policy analysis, programme management and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and school improvement. His work sits at the intersection of education practice, research, policy and evidence-informed practice, with a focus on understanding what works, generating and applying evidence, and designing, implementing and strengthening education and social interventions that improve teaching, learning and broader education outcomes.
He has worked with NGOs, INGOs, government and education stakeholders, combining practical experience in education delivery with research and analytical perspectives to inform programme design, implementation, policy and decision-making.
His research interests include education financing; education policy and politics; equitable and sustainable education delivery; cross-sector collaboration and sustainable education; teacher development and school improvement; education technology and artificial intelligence (AI). His interests are particularly focused on understanding how policy, financing, institutions, partnerships, evidence and innovation interact to shape education systems, social interventions and outcomes.
Amos holds a Master of Research and Public Policy from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Cape Coast.
